Christmas: The merry event that is celebrated for the birth of the holy child of this world-Jesus. Christmas is a time when all the schools and colleges enjoy vacation period. This vocational period starts just before the Christmas event and continues till the New Year celebration day.

The kids are those who enjoy the Christmas vacation the most. This is the time when they generally get some days off from their regular hectic study schedules and are allowed to enjoy by their own. You can use shinning glitters, radium stars, ribbons or other paper decorative items to design and decorate the poster.

Sometimes, you can paste the decorated posters over a cardboard frame and can hang on the walls.

Other easy Christmas art activities for children include decorating and painting flower vase to give them artistic looks. This is done by collecting a vase or a jar that is made up of wood, china clay or glass. Plastic will also do. The easy way involves pasting pictures over the vase and spraying glitters over those pictures.

But the artistic way involves painting the vase with images through the help of paint brush and fabric or water colours. Another way to decorate a vase is by covering the entire vase with coloured or white paper. Remember to keep the mouth of the vase open (i.e. uncovered). Then you can paint or paste pictures over these coloured papers in order to decorate the jar.
