Bob River is one of the most well known American rock and roll on air radio personality. He is a famous and prolific producer of parody songs and is very popular for his Christmas parodies.

He was twice voted by the Radio and Records as the “Major Market Rock Personality of the Year”. Being one of the most famous rock and roll DJs, his song “I Am Santa Claus” is very popular. The lyrics of the song is given below,

I am Santa Claus

Ho ho ho ho ho

Flying Through the snow

Can you hear him ho ho ho

He’s so full of cheer

only has to work one day a year

Children in their beds

Visions of sugar plums fill their heads

So many kids out there

Santa must be a billionaire

Red suit, boots of black

Big sack of toys hanging off his back

How much does he weigh

How do the reindeer pull his sleigh

Nobody sees him

as he travels the world

Leaving his presents

for the good boys and girls

Ho ho ho ho ho

Sees every move you make

Better be good for goodness sake

Leave him cookies and beer

He’ll be back to your house first next year

I am Santa Claus

Ho ho ho ho ho

Most of the Bob River tracks have been misattributed to the “Weird Al” Yankovic as both of them had similar vocals. Bob River, however, went on to be voted as the “Billboard’s Radio Personality of the Week” by the very popular Billboard magazine. His hit Christmas parody “I am Santa Claus” is still considered to be a classic and is hugely popular during the Christmas holiday season.

Bob River went on to release “Twisted Christmas” which is a parody of twelve days of Christmas songs. This album was released by the name “Twelve Pains of Christmas ” and went on to be certified as a gold record.
