Christmas Art Made Easy

Christmas arts and crafts are the best way to keep children pleasantly occupied during the holiday season. There are a wide variety of things you can make when it comes to easy Christmas art and most of them do not require expensive crafts items to be purchased.

Among the most popular easy Christmas art projects that can be chosen for kids, the following can be chosen for their ease of making as well as the extent of fun the children will have during the process.

Christmas Cards

By recycling the cards from previous years and cutting out several beautiful pictures and motifs and making use of them to create a collage is a novel way to create Christmas cards. You can also create colorful cards that are sprinkled with glitter and adorned with brightly-hued satin ribbons and by adding a ribbon loop to them, these cards can also be used as Christmas tree ornaments.

Glittering Candles

By taking different types of candles – of varying colors, sizes and shapes – and spraying them with glue and adding colorful glitter to make it stick to the candles, you can instantly create a magnificent effect to your home during the Christmas season. By creating interesting clusters of such glittering candles all over the house, the entire house can be transformed and suffused with a warm and wonderful glow.

Christmas Wreath

You can create your own easy Christmas art in the form of a Christmas wreath without even having to sew it. Buy a Styrofoam base for the wreath from the crafts shop and then trace out the outline onto pattern paper. Wrap the wreath base with gift-wrapping ribbon and other such colorful ribbons you can find. Glue bright ornaments onto the wreath and add as many as you want to make it look festive. Tie a ribbon on to the wreath when you are finished and then, hang it.

Crafts made of cardboard tubes

Cardboard tubes from empty toilet paper rolls can be used to create easy Christmas art ornaments. Using colored construction paper, cut out shapes like angels, Christmas trees, snowman, Santa Claus and other such figures and then, glue them on to the cardboard tubes to be used as ornaments.

Handprint Reindeers

Children love this easy Christmas art in particular.  Trace the outline of the hands of the children onto colorful construction paper and then, cut the out. Glue them together in the shape of the antlers of a reindeer. Fix these antlers onto a properly crafted reindeer head out of a brown paper bag and the handprint reindeer is ready!

Napkin Rings

By stringing together colorful beads and gluing sequins onto elastic ribbons of different colors, you can create beautiful napkin rings to hold your folded napkins at the dinner table. This is a great way to make the dinner table look elegant and colorful.

By choosing easy Christmas art projects, such as no-sew arts and crafts, everyone will be able to take part in creating unique Christmas gifts.
