The Golden Wrapping Paper

Once upon a time a five year old girl used an expensive golden wrapping paper, to wrap a shoe box, just before the Christmas. She kept that box under the Christmas tree. Seeing this father got very annoyed and scolded the daughter and punished her. Since father had less money, he became very upset.

The next day, little girl got up with full of excitement and gave that box wrapped in golden paper to her father and said “Daddy, this is for you”. Seeing this father git touched and felt sorry for previous days reaction. He was very happy seeing the gift. But as he opened the box, it was empty. Seeing the father got furious and scolded the daughter. He said “Don’t you know that when you give someone a gift it should not be empty box”. The little girl had tears in her eyes. She said to his father “Daddy i blew kisses into the box till it was full.” The father was broken with the wording of his daughter. He took the little girl in his arms and asked her to forgive him.

Just a short time later, the little girl died in an accident. It is said that father kept the box wrapped in golden paper besides him throughout his life. Whenever he was tensed he used to open the box and take an imaginary kiss from the box.

Every human being has invisible golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our lovable kids, family, and friends. This is one of the most precious possessions that anyone can have.
