Christmas Tradition- Christmas Decoration

Christmas is a time of festivities, fun, and traditional decorations. A Christmas Holiday Decoration could be any of various type of decorations used. The traditional colors of Christmas are pine green, heart red and snow white. To give the effect of winter blue and white colors are used. Other metallic colors commonly used are gold, silver and other metallic colors. The typical Christmas icons used are Jesus, Santa Claus, the Star of Bethlehem, Three Magi, and the Christian Cross. Typical winter icons are snowmen, snowflakes, penguins, reindeer, icicles and the polar bear. The important thing is how you can make a difference in decoration this time.   • Christmas Themes: The best way to make a difference is choosing a theme to decorate your home for Christmas. Having decided a theme helps to decorate and give a standard look to the complete house. You can choose a musical, snow, love, and many more other themes for decoration.
  • Christmas Colors: If you want to retain the traditional touch than you have the obvious choice of red, green and white with some gold and silver touch. But if you want to go for more than the tradition than you can select lighter colors like blue, silver and white for snowy winter look, red and white for candy look, for earthy look go for green, brown, and gold.
  • Christmas tree: This is the big task from selecting a tree to decorating the Christmas tree. The best Christmas trees to select are Fraser Fir, Noble Fir, Colorado blue spruce, Grand Fir and Balsam Fir. Then you can select power saving lights for the Christmas tree as per the theme you have selected but don’t put too many lights. You can also select ornaments, garlands and tinsels to decorate your Christmas tree. Ornaments like baubles, stars, Santa clause, candy canes, fruits, animals, snowmen are obvious choices.   • Indoor and Outdoor Decorations: You can hang luminaries, paper lanterns, or jar candles outside your house on the drive way and trees. Hang a beautifully decorated wreath or wind chime on the door to welcome the guest. Place candles on the mantles and cluster candles on table tops. Arrange boughs of spruce and pine with rosy apples, wine-red cranberries over the fireplace. Hang delicate snowflakes from light fixtures and wall sconces.
