Get A Nicely Decorated Snowman On Christmas

Today, Snowman decorations has become an integral part of Christmas festival. The origin of the word ‘Snowman’ is not exactly known but it is believed that the word came into existence between 1820-1830. Snow became entangle with christmas only in 19th century as Santa Claus was identified with snow (as coming from north pole). Perhaps, around this time children started building snowman with great excitement.

As snow doesn’t happen everywhere around the world during Christmas, children doesn’t get disheartend and they indulge themselves in christmas snowman decorations. How to get a snowman? Don’t worry as here are some simple steps through which you can have a nice snowman for yourself:

For a peper plate snowman, you require 2 white paper plates, a short length of yarn or ribbon,an orange pipe cleaner(for the nose), construction paper, hole punch, scissors, glue, marker or crayons and googly eyes with large buttons. Last two things you can keep as some options. After collecting stuff you cut off the outer rim of the paper plate by making it a smaller plate, punch a hole near the outer rim and tie the two plates together, using the ribbon or yarn. Next step is, take the black construction paper, draw and then cut out a top hat and two boots. Draw and then cut out two mittens through colored construction paper. Then glue the hat, boots and mittens on the snowman. Either glue on googly eyes or you can simply draw the eyes. Draw a mouth and for the nose cut a short length from an orange pipe cleaner. Stick the pipe cleaner through the plate and secure it. If the plate is too tough, make a tiny hole with the tip of the scissors. For bottons, you can cut out shapes from construction paper and use round stickers. You can glue on real buttons or can draw them.

You can now have a nice Christmas snowman for yourself, carved out from your own hands. Like this, you can have your own snowman without any snow at your place. Isn’t it great?
