Get Crafty for Christmas
Let’s get crafty and creative this season and try out some nice ideas on Christmas. If it turns out to be good, gift it. If it turns out the other way, don’t trash it. But be happy you tried something and put that gorgeous brain of yours to creative use. There are various levels in craft. Skills needed might range from just cutting, pasting and painting to sewing and embroider. Based on that, here are some Christmas craft ideas for both beginners and experts.
- Christmas cards
- Snow flake Christmas card: Using a blank white card and some snowflake paper punches you can create a lovely silver blue Christmas card for friends and families.
- Christmas tree card: You will need a blank card of any color of your choice, though white is preferable as the tree is going to be dark green. Card stocks of respective colors for the star and the tree. Since it is starry, you can use glitter pens to create your stars or stickers. Cut the green card stock in shape of a tree and stick it over the blank card and decorate over it.
- Patterns: Patterns are templates for Christmas tree, snow man, other Christmas craft ideas that you might be having. This is used when you have to draw it out on a sheet of paper and cut it. This helps by reducing the time take. You can make your own and use them if you cannot get motif paper punches.
- Paper crafts (Origami): Get some felt paper and fold it into different angles and shapes to get a Christmas tree or Santa or a sledge or a beautiful snow flake.
- Snowman craft
- Washcloth snowman: An excellent Christmas craft idea to recycle old wash cloths. Roll, fold and tie to get the neck and the body. Sew in old buttons as eyes and nose. Fix a tiny hat and sew that as well. Make a nice scarf out of old clothes and our snowman is ready!
- Candle cup snowman: Take two old candle cups, a wooden ball to hold them in between as the head. Black and white paint, scrap cloth for scarf and tiny buttons for buttons on the snowman. Putting it all together, you get a fine snowman mini Christmas gift.
