A horrible breakfast on Halloween morning is quite easy to prepare. All you need to do is convert your normal breakfast into a horrible scary one with a Halloween touch.

Here are a few Halloween special breakfast recipes for giving you an idea of how to prepare your original unique Halloween breakfast.

Pancakes, muffins, cupcakes, soups, brews and potatoes; all of these may be tailored to cater to the Halloween theme.

How?

Pumpkin Pancakes: The process to prepare pumpkin pancakes is the same as normal pancakes. All you need to do is add pumpkin puree to your pancake batter. Combine flour (2 cups), granulated sugar (2 tablespoons), baking soda (2 tsp), salt and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Mix milk, egg yolk, butter and pureed pumpkin and transfer the contents into the dry ingredients. Next add the egg white. Now pour the batter in a frying pan and prepare steaming hot pumpkin pancakes prepared specially for Halloween.

Scary Ghost Potatoes: Boil large potatoes, about 4 to 5 depending upon the number of people present in breakfast. Mash the potatoes and add milk (about 5 to 7 cups), butter, salt to taste and pepper. Beat the potatoes well until they are smooth and creamy.

Next use ghost shaped stencils to prepare images of ghosts by filling in the mashed potatoes into the stencils. Then lift the stencils and see how the potato ghosts scare you. You may prepare your ghost stencils using heavy duty aluminium foil. Microwave the ghosts once prepared. Use black olives to make eyes and mouth of ghosts.

Halloween Cupcakes: The process again in the same as making cupcake. The difference is that for Halloween you might want to prepare oozing cupcakes. How can you create the oozing effect? What you can do is use a mixture of softened cream cheese, sugar egg, a few drops of orange colouring and chocolate chips for the oozing effect. When the filling is ready keep it aside.

Next prepare batter for cupcakes. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda. Next blend vinegar, vanilla extract, oil and water. Transfer these into the dry ingredients and blend well.

Pour in the cupcake batter into the cupcake liners to fill half of the liners. Top the batter with the orange coloured filling and bale for more than 25 minutes in a pre heated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When your cupcakes are ready you would see how the oozing cupcakes entice you and your friends.
