Fruit pudding is a Scottish dish. This is a mixture of milk, wheat flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, fruits, and many more things.

Add half portion of milk and other half portion of fruits or fruit juice in a pan. Add two table spoons of powdered sugar to the mixture. Place the pan on the fire. Let it boil and then move it. Stir the mixture and add four eggs to the mixture quickly. Butter the dish and add cupful of fruits. Then pour the mixture on the fruits. Bake the same. Further you can cool the same and have it. One can add fruits to your taste to the pudding.

How to Make Fruit Salad

Fruit Salads is one of the great dishes for Christmas. It consists of different kinds of fruit served with fruit juices or syrup. It can be served as appetizer or side salad or even as desert.
In a mixing bowl, pour cream and add 1 cup sugar. Mix the same well till it is thick and creamy. Take two canned fruit salad mixture. From these, take out the fruits and pour in the bowl. These canes include peaches, grapes and even cherries. You can also add fresh fruits such as apples. Cut the apples into small pieces. You can also add fresh oranges. Peel the oranges and remove the seeds. Add the cream and sugar mixture with the fruits. Place the bowl in the fridge. Take out the same when needed at the time of dinner or so.

Many a times you tend to create the fruit salad beforehand. Prepare the mixture before hand and also cut the fruits but keep the both in separate bowls. Mix the fruits with mixture just before serving. You can also add splash of lemon, orange or other citrus fruit juice on the fruits which you have kept in the bowl after cutting the same. This will not turn the vulnerable fruit brown.

  • While baking apples, if you remove horizontal slice from around the middle, the apple will not shrink.

  • To chop the dried fruits it is always advised to freeze them for at least one hour before chopping them.
  • Submerge the lemon in the hot water for approximately 15 minutes or warm the lemon for 45 seconds in the microwave. This will enable you to get more juice out of the lemon.
