Families love to eat out together because it gives them a great opportunity to interact with each other but what is relay important is to make sure you eat right to stay healthy. 5.Take your child to the grocery store and give him the choice to select the fruits he wishes to eat. On returning home he can rinse them and help you make meals using those fruits and vegetables.

6.Learn to use nutritious food intelligently like adding fruits chopped to cereals or grated carrots in soups to make them healthier.

7.Designate the kitchen for eating snacks so that children do not get into the habit of snacking in front of the television.

8.When kids want a snack do not hand them a bag of potato wafers, rather encourage them to eat fresh fruits or cereal bars.

9.Prepare smoothies using fresh fruits and skimmed milk to make them tasty and attractive to kids.

10.Whole grain snacks are always a preferred option because it helps to give the children more energy.

11.Stock ready to eat vegetables in the fridge and fruits in the fruit bowl for kids to pick up and eat when they are hungry.

12.Introduce new fruit items with peanut butter sauces and vegetables with delicious dressings to tempt children into trying them out.

13.Most importantly you should start eating right so that they can learn from you. If you munch on fresh fruits and vegetables they are more likely to follow your footsteps.
