Evergreens- These were initially brought in because of the Pagans festival. The Romans at that time thought that green branches bring good luck with them and the church readily accepted their idea.

Christmas tree decorations- Decorating the Christmas tree initially came from Germany. There is a story that Martin Luther was the first one to decorate a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree was decorated with the help of candles which represented the stars.

Gift Giving- Christmas is thought to be the best festival for giving exchanging gifts with your near and dear ones. The giving of gifts comes from the giving of gifts to the baby Christ by the three kings.

Use of angel figures- The angel figures can be directly related to the Christmas story. We have all grown up listening to Christmas stories and this is where you would have heard of angels and other angel figures so this is where these figures come from.
