The Festivity Begins with Christmas Santa Claus

Santa Claus is also popularly known as Father Christmas. The arrival of Santa Claus is the most anticipated event on Christmas eve and everyone awaits his arrival when he distributes gifts among all.

Father Christmas is the most loved Christmas figure and is widely popular as the caring, loving and gift giving figure. As we know him today, Santa Claus, as we popularly know him today first became noticed and popular when the Dutch settlers moved to Manhattan on Christmas day in 1624.

In Holland, Santa Claus is known as SinterKlaas. He would wear a red robe and ride a white horse. He would also carry a bag of gifts for the children’s to fill their stockings.

It has always been believed that on Christmas eve, Christmas Santa Claus goes round the world with bags full of Christmas gifts. He goes to every child and gifts him everything that he wishes for. The children’s are of the belief that when they are asleep Santa slides down the chimney with the child’s desired gift and leaves it by his bedside while he is still asleep.

The children are also told that Christmas Santa Claus gives gifts to only those children who are well behaved. It is believed that Christmas Santa Claus along with his reindeer and elves remain busy all round the year while trying to create a host of exciting things.

Christmas Santa Claus or Father Christmas is someone that everyone believes in and loves. Thus gifts from him are the most awaited. So no matter if you come up with your own letters, games and pet ideas, but it is undoubtedly Santa’s wishes which shines through all the haze. Thus Christmas Santa Claus brings in the festivity as the Christmas arrives and thus begins the joy of fun, caring and sharing of the Christmas season.
