Ever got a really annoying and disappointing Christmas gift? Well let us kick some butts here with our countdown of worst Christmas gift you could ever get!

Though it is difficult to rate each, anyhow, here goes:

10. Cleaning items: Vacuum cleaners and toilet brushes. No wonder this is in our countdown for the top 10 worst Christmas presents. The idea that the lady of the house ‘needs’ cleaning items for herself for the Christmas is not a very pleasant thought. What are you trying to imply? Forget Christmas, clean the house?

9. Personal hygiene items: Floss, nose hair clippers, blackhead remover. If you feel the person needs to concentrate on his/her hygiene, there are plenty other way to point it out to them…politely. Why annoy them on Christmas? Get a life!

8. Annoying toys: Chia pet, the clapper, farting genome, candy dispenser. Talk of annoying gifts and these would be on the top. But not worse than what is to come.

7. Books: Wrong book to wrong person. Like ‘Delicious non-vegetarian cooking’ to a vegetarian and ‘What if I married the wrong person’ to an engaged couple.

6. Hand-me-down clothes: Half way down our top 10 worst Christmas presents countdown come the over-sized dresses. Why do you even bother buying a gift?

5. Cosmetics: There are some cosmetics which are highly unacceptable as Christmas presents. They can send wrong signals as to what you think of the other person. Like ‘Facial hair lightening bleach’.

4. Gym coupon and diet pills: It might be out of real concern for their health. But Christmas is not the time. Be polite and let them enjoy their flab. Find other means to tell them that they need to focus on their body too.

3. Socks: Buy a shoe that fits them, a sneaker they could jog in but not a sock no matter how corporate he dresses. It is just not good. It is almost as if you want to tell them “You have got real smelly socks. Good thing I bought you a spare.” That is not what Christmas gift is all about.

2. Musical boxer shorts: Taking the number 2 position on our countdown to the top 10 worst Christmas presents is the musical boxer shorts. People who got ‘em, know ‘em. It is humiliating. They can’t even wear it out. Not even out of their bathrooms!

And now… the number 1 spot goes to….

1. Underwear. Presenting a lacy panty to a girl is fine. But underwear for a guy, no! It is a touchy issue we shouldn’t touch upon.

Buy a gift people will remember you, with fondness. It is time for loving and giving. Make someone feel special.
