What NOT to Buy for Christmas

What is worse than breaking a finger nail or a wrong hair do? Getting a bad Christmas present! Come on, this day comes once a year and you cannot even get one proper gift? Well, time for the Christmas gift police to investigate on the worst ever Christmas presents to give.
#1. Repetition: Before you spend money and time into buying someone something, you should make sure they don’t have the exact same stuff already!
If they love cooking, chances are there that they have already got the cook book you have wrapped up for them for this Christmas.
Do they like photography? And you think they won’t have a tripod or camera bag or a basic UV lens already?! What are they going to do with the extras?
If your guy or girl is fashion oriented, there are high chances they would have bought every fashion accessory/clothing on list long before Christmas.
Mom doesn’t need any more kitchen utensils!
Dad already has loads of ties and tools. Next time you give one more of those, you are definitely gonna get smashed or chocked.
No more photo frames or Santa Claus or candles or watches…please!
#2. Wrong item, wrong person: Getting a gift that you like is not the point of buying a gift. You have to analyze what the receiver would like. Some bad Christmas presents:
An intellectual, geeky guy doesn’t know what to do with high fashion accessories.
An intellectual, geeky girl doesn’t want fancy panty hoses.
A fun-loving party animal will never read that book you gave him/her.
Grandma/Grandpa can’t use that organizer or any other fancy gadget if they can’t hold it straight. Respect their age!
Giving your girl friend or wife a fake product is the best example…for a real bad Christmas present!
Giving your boy friend or husband a scent or perfume you like doesn’t mean they have to like it too.
She hates fur. What good is that fur coat going to do?
He hates leather. Why buy leather shoes?
#3. One size DOESN’T fir all: When buying clothes for women, you need to be careful with their sizes. She might be a size 6, but bit curvier. In such cases, it is going to be a real bad idea to grab anything that is size 6. Try to learn more about women’s fashion before going through this acid test. Best is to let her choose and you pay.
#4. Right gift, wrong color: This might sound funny, but there are people who are ‘allergic’ to certain colors. You need to keep that in mind. Your sensitivity will be greatly appreciated.
Bad Christmas presents are way to learn more things about that person. But chances are there that they will never use the present after Christmas. Next time you buy presents, think of them hard and spend useful bucks!
